ABBA FATHER’S LOVE – Part 1

3.7.2023 | Donne Europee, Donne Europee English

Some of us have had wonderful fathers, while some of us have had no fathers at home to give us encouragement or comfort or what we needed. I was blessed that I could spend time with my father in nature, where we walked and talked together, and I could learn many valuable life lessons from him. I missed him every much when he moved to his heavenly Home when I was only in my twenties.

Each one of us has a precious, loyal, caring Father in Heaven who knows our names, who loves us dearly and Who has only our best interests at heart. He sees each tear we shed. He knows our sorrows, our heartaches, our trials, our hopes, our dreams, and every detail about our lives. NOTHING escapes His attention, and nothing drives Him away from us even when we forget to talk to Him in prayers.

Father God loves us so much, that He gave His only begotten Son to die an agonizing death on a Cross [John 3:16] so that we may have life and forgiveness through His death and resurrection. Rom. 8:15 + 16 say – “For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship, [daughter-ship too] by whom we cry, “Abba! Father! The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.”

What a blessing, that we are His and He is ours. We are never fatherless! John 1:12-13 states – “Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. We are all children of God.”

God knows us intimately, when we sit or rise, sleep or work. He knows all our thoughts and He is familiar with ALL our ways. [Psalm 139:1 -3]. In Matt. 10:26 – 31, Jesus said, “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”

God is omnipresent, which means He himself is present everywhere. We cannot hide from Him and that is a such a comfort, to know that He watches over us, that HE is our “shade”, our protection, our watchman. [Psalm 121] A “shade” is like your shadow that NEVER leaves you.

Dearest Abba Father God, thank You that Your Word says in Psalm 139:7-10 that no matter where I go, You are there, holding me securely and steady. You are already there where I need to go, so I can trust you with my future. Thank You for comforting me from Jer. 29:11, that You know the plans You have for me, plans to prosper me and not to harm me,

plans to give me hope and a future. Blessed Lord, I surrender my future into Your precious Hands and thank You that I can trust You totally. I love You Abba Father. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
