GOD HAS NO LIMITS

When we feel limited, the Lord is limitless. He has no limitations or restrictions
or shortcomings like we have. He can and will do all that He promises to do for
us. He sees our challenges as opportunities to bring glory, praise and honour to
Him.

In Matthew 14 we read how Jesus fed a crowd of 5,000 by multiplying 5 little
loaves and 2 fish. Afterwards He sent his disciples to the other side of the lake
in their boat, while He went to the mountainside to pray. (Verses 22-27) Verse
24 tells us that “the boat was already a considerable distance from land,
BUFFETED BY THE WAVES BECAUSE THE WIND WAS AGAINST IT.” During the
very early hours of the morning, Jesus went out to His disciples, walking on the
water. The disciples had a huge fright! They were already afraid because of the
water which could drown them if they capsized or had shipwreck. It is
fascinating that JESUS USED THE VERY THING WHICH THE DISCIPLES FEARED,
to prove His might and power. The very thing that threatened, restrained and
limited the disciples – stormy water – was the very thing that Jesus walked on
to demonstrate his superior glory and victory.

Are you perhaps buffeted or beaten about by difficult circumstances? Don’t be
discouraged or afraid! Call out to dear Almighty Lord Jesus who can conquer
winds and storms and challenges that surround us. Eph. 1:19-20 states – “I
also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for
us who believe Him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the
dead and seated Him in the place of honour at God’s right hand in the heavenly
realms.”

Abba Father God has immense compassion for us, and He loves watching over
us. “For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for
those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed
our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the
LORD has compassion on those who fear Him…” (Psalm 103:11-13)

James 1:2-3 say – “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you
face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith
produces perseverance/ endurance/ steadfastness.”

Thank You Abba Father, that You know my every need. You have already
conquered my fears and sins on the Cross. Help me to remember Rom. 8:28
that “God works all things for good for those who love Him.” I trust You, thank
You, and love and worship You. Amen
