1 Thess. 5:18 states – ”Give thanks in ALL (not some) circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Gratitude and thankfulness express appreciation and we want to do that today.
On behalf of all the women (sometimes men too) who have read the devotions regularly in Donne Web, we want to sincerely thank Avainmedia for printing out our weekly devotions. We express a deep gratitude to Marja Toukola, who faithfully entered all the English devotions into Donne Web weekly, for many years, and we give genuine acknowledgement to Maria Hietanen who initially started the blog. Thank you to all those who contributed to the devotions and to all those who have faithfully read them. Above all, we thank our Lord Jesus Christ who inspired the devotions and kept them flowing for many years, encouraging and uplifting all those who read them. “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Colossians 3:17)
Unfortunately, Donne web (Webforwomen) will no longer continue as from the end of this month, but Myrtle Grimm-Turunen will continue publishing and sending them out from a new blog post. Welcome to read them!

Holy, blessed Abba Father God, our loving blessed Lord, thank you for Your everlasting goodness and love. You are good, and Your love endures forever, Your faithfulness continues through all generations. Thank You for James 1:17 which says – “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” Thank You that You are the same yesterday, today and forever. We praise and honour and glorify Your name, Amen
