Resting in the faithfulness of God.

God Almighty is sometimes beyond our understanding.

He created the whole universe, and He knows what is going on all over the world.

He knows each one of us as well as our circumstances, our hardships and what battles we must fight. What a privilege we have, to rest in the faithfulness of God!

There are many scriptures that can encourage us regarding His faithfulness.

Remember the journey of Israel when the Israelites left Egypt. (Deut. 2: 7)

For the Lord Your God has blessed you in all the work of your hand; He knows your walking through this great desert / wilderness; these forty years, the Lord your God has been with you; you have lacked nothing.

God is faithful in all circumstances   2 Tim. 2;13 – If we are faithless [do not believe and are untrue to Him], He remains true [faithful to His Word and His righteous character], for He cannot deny Himself.

God is omnipotent – All Mighty.  Job 42; 1 – I know that You can do all things and that no thought or purpose of Yours can be restrained, no one can stop You.

God is Omnipresent [also in our lives.] Psalm 119: 90 – Your faithfulness is from generation to generation. You have established the earth, and it stands fast.

God cannot lie, he keeps His promises.  (1 Cor. 1: 9 a) – God is faithful – reliable, trustworthy and ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on.

God never changes, He is always the same (Deut. 7: 9) – Know, recognize and understand therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps covenant and steadfast love and mercy with those who love Him and keep His commandments to a 1000 generations. AND Malachi 3:6 a For I am the Lord, I do not change.

God is all knowing, omniscient (I Thess. 5:24) – Faithful is He, who is calling you [to Himself] and utterly trustworthy, and He will also do it [that is, fulfill His call by hallowing and keeping you]

As prayer warriors, we all trust God, but sometimes life is hard, even though we are believing Christians. Our enemy is constantly looking where he can let us stumble and doubt.  It can happen that people judge God because of their circumstances and they take their eyes off God.

Then we need to trust God, spend time in reading the Word, and ask fellow Believers to pray with us. Do not get despondent or disheartened or give up hope.

Luke 1:37 says – For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.

What a privilege we have, to rest in the faithfulness of our God!

Precious Heavenly Father, thank You for remaining faithful even when we are sometimes faithless. Thank You that we can trust You to keep Your promises because of Your faithful love. Your love is steadfast, enduring and lasting. We praise and thank You and worship You. Please help us to be steady in serving you faithfully. In Your blessed Name we pray, Amen
