Easter is behind and the victory over death is real. Jesus has risen from the dead- He has won death. Hallelujah!
In Jesus we too have the resurrection life.
Paul’s letter to Romans chapter 6: verses 9-11 says – “…knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over him! For the death that He died, He died to sin one time; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Thus, consider yourselves also to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Gal 2:20 – “I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.”
Do not look back to yesterday’s sin and defeat. You are not dead anymore; you have been raised with Jesus. Start living a resurrection life.
Colossians 3: 1- 3 – “If then you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.”
1 Peter 1: 3-7 – (AMP Bible) “Praised (honoured/Blessed) be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah! By His boundless great mercy, we have been born again to an ever living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that doesn’t fade away, reserved in Heaven for you,=(ampl.bible) into an inheritance which is beyond the reach of change and decay (imperishable), unsullied, and unfading, reserved in heaven – who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time for you . In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved in various trials that the proof of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes, even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honour at the revelation of Jesus Christ; whom not having known, you love , though now you don’t see Him, yet believing, you rejoice greatly with joy that is unspeakable and full of joy.”
Heavenly Father, please help us to have this message of victory in our lives every day. Amen
