Recently I was ill again, for the third time, with covid 19. My family and
prayer supporters prayed for me and encouraged me beautifully. One
encouragement that grabbed my attention, was from a young Christian
refugee whom my husband and I love and support. He wrote, “Don’t
worry! God can manage it.”
“MANAGE” means to handle, to control, to supervise and direct. As I
pondered on the phrase which this young man sent to me, Holy Spirit
nudged me that no matter what I go through, God WILL ALWAYS remain
in FULL control of my life AND my circumstances if I allow Him to! It is a
great relief to hand over every situation, every happening, every question
we might have, into His capable hands for HIM to process and act upon,
on our behalf. It gave me such joy to hand the covid over to Jesus, and to
relax in His love and purposes for me, even when I am ill.
According to 1 Chronicles 28:9 and 2 Chronicles 15:2, if we seek Father
God, He will be found by us. We can always find a reliable God in an
unreliable world. He gives Living water when we are thirsty, daily Bread of
life from the Bible when we are hungry. Jesus is the Prince of peace in a
world of war and chaos. He is a mender of broken hearts, a Provider for
those in need, a Protector when we are in danger. He is our Safe refuge, a
Strong tower, our strength, our Arm of might and our salvation.
Dearest Precious Father God, Thank You that You are my Source of help
and wisdom. Only You can sort out the difficulties and troubles in a world
which seems so unwilling to hand over its problems to You. Thank You
that You are aware of every sorrow or pain I go through. “You keep track
of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have
recorded each one in your book.” Psalm 56:8 Thank You that I have the
knowledge that all things work together for good to those who love You,
to those who are the called according to Your purpose. Romans 8:28
Thank You that Your love holds me firm and steady, that I need not be
afraid of what others can do to me. You are my Source of hope when I
feel hopeless. You are my Healer when I am sick, my Encourager when I
feel discouraged, my Strength when I am weak. You manage my affairs
with loving compassion and care. “You make known to me the path of life;
in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures
forevermore.” Psalm 16:11 How precious is Your loving devotion and
kindness, O God, that the children of men take refuge in the shadow of
Your wings! Psalm 36:7 Please continue leading and guiding me in Your
way which is secure and sweet, and which leads into divine eternity and
into Your everlasting presence. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
